NEW YORK: DreamDry Salon
DreamDry salon falls nothing short of its name. With four locations in NYC and Chicago, the salon has been fulfilling hair dreams since 2013. Co-owned by the fab Rachel Zoe, you can only imagine how chic and luxurious its ambiance is, because let’s be real—Zoe never disappoints.
With “Make everyday glamorous” as its slogan, DreamDry get straight to the point—no color or cuts, just bomb blowouts that yield dope ass tresses.
These swanky salons include over 15 chairs (with lots of elbow room) and a VIP area for when you just can’t even. Styles are labeled on a chic menu so you can easily choose from an array, including the pin-straight “Ali” to the teased and tousled “Brigette.” With so many options, you just might spend more time deciding than you do getting your locks primped in the chair—these lightning-fast stylists do a full blow dry in less than 30 minutes! And if you’re on a serious time crunch, DreamDry stylists offer express styles that transform tresses at even quicker speeds.
DreamDry’s reasonable rates make it hard to say no to a day of pampering. Prices vary depending on location, but start at $20 for a masque and styles/blowouts range from $30 to $160. Their extended hours are a busy girl on-the-go’s ultimate salvation, with doors opening at 6:30 am and closing at 9 or 10 pm (depending on location).
Each stylist goes through an intensive 7-10 day course ,where they train to perfect the techniques needed for each style offered on the menu.
