Whether you’re on a quest for the fullest, beachiest waves ever, or need a little extra oomph to create a killer textured pony or side braid, it’s all about finding the right extensions. These days, everyone from your fave celebs to the cool girl next door is rocking hair pieces to achieve a mega mane, so why shouldn’t you? Below, we’ve created six tutorials with celebrity hairstylists Scotty Cunha and Scott King, so you can work your Hidden Crown hair extensions like a total pro.

TEXTURED PONY

Celebrity stylist and Mane Addicts master Scotty Cunha is breaking down how to use a Hidden Crown hair topper to create a cool, textured pony.

  1. Line up the Hidden Crown topper with your part.
  2. Take about an inch thick of hair directly where your part will start in the front and comb the hair backwards to tease it. Teasing this hair will help secure the clip into place.
  3. Take your Crown Topper and, using the front clip where the part starts, scoop under the teased hair and clip it down
  4. Once the front clip is secure, you can start clipping down the sides and then the back.  Tease the side sections then clip the sides and repeat in the back.
  5. Curl the hair all over to blend the crown topper with your natural hair.
  6. Split the hair into two sections and pull the bottom section into a low pony securing with an elastic.
  7. Tease underneath the top section of the hair and add it to the low pony securing with a second elastic.
  8. Pull out the top section of the hair to create volume.
  9. Wrap loose hair around the elastic and secure with bobby pin.

BEACHY WAVES

Get the festival hair of your dreams with this easy, beachy waves tutorial by Scotty Cunha!

  1. Section off your hair around your crown and clip the top half of your hair up.
  2. Then place your Hidden Crown halo extension onto your head. Place the wire slightly behind the hair line and push on the back of the Hidden Crown wire for a snug fit.  Make sure it is fitted properly.
  3. Take down the top half that you clipped up and blend your Hidden Crown with the rest of your hair. Make sure to use your rat-tail comb to help blend and hide the wire.
  4. Once your Hidden Crown is perfectly in place, you can now start to curl!
  5. To apply the Crown Jewel, lift a section of hair above the ears and tease it.
  6. Clip in the turquoise Crown Jewel by Hidden Crown to the side of the head where you teased the hair.
  7. Repeat on other side securing the Crown Jewel hair accessory.

INSTANT VOLUME AND LENGTH

Craving long, thick, luscious hair like the Kardashians? Well, mane master Scotty Cunha is sharing his secrets on how to stack Hidden Crown hair extensions for super full, natural-looking hair.

  1. The first hidden crown extension will live under the second one, so when sectioning the hair go lower on the scalp and further behind the hair line.
  2. Then, add the first Hidden Crown halo shaped extension while focusing on the wire placement.
  3. For the second Hidden Crown halo, section the hair higher on the scalp and closer to the hairline. You don’t want the wires to be located on the same spot of the head.
  4. Then, add the second Hidden Crown halo shaped extension.
  5. Use your rat-tail comb to help blend and hide the wire.
  6. Comb the hair to blend the Hidden Crown with your natural hair.
  7. Ruffle for texture

SPACE BUNS

Looking for a hairstyle that is out-of-this-world? Try space buns! Scott King breaks down how to create the look with Hidden Crown hair extensions.

  1. First, section off your hair around the crown line and clip the top half of your hair up.
  2. Pull the Halo Shaped Extension wire over the sectioned off hair while focusing of the wire to create a snug fit on your head. Make sure the Hidden Crown is properly fitted.
  3. Take down the clipped top half of hair and blend your Hidden Crown with your natural hair.
  4. Use a rat-tail comb to help blend the hair and hide the wire.
  5. Grab your small barrel curling iron and start to curl your hair.  The heat will blend your hair and the Crown Topper together which will make it look more natural.
  6. Next, to create the space buns, part the hair and create two sections.
  7. Twist each section into a small bun at the top of the head.
  8. Use a bobby pin to secure each bun
  9. Finish up by ruffling up the buns and curls to create texture.

INSTANT HIGHLIGHTS

Who needs to visit the salon when you can create instant highlights at home? Celebrity hairstylist Scott King shows us how to fake sun-kissed strands with a Hidden Crown topper and extensions.

  1. Section the top of the hair and pull back and secure with a clip.
  2. Pull the Hidden Crown extension wire over the clipped back hair and place the wire further back from the hairline. Make sure it is fitted properly.
  3. Line the crown topper with the part of the hair.
  4. Take about an inch of hair directly where your part will start in the front and comb the hair backwards to tease it.  Teasing the hair will help secure the clip into place.
  5. Place the Crown Topper over of the extension wire so the Crown Topper clip will keep the extension wire in place. Be careful not to clip onto the wire because it may break the wire.
  6. Once the Crown topper is secure on your head and all the clips are clipped down properly, go ahead and start brushing carefully through the Crown Topper and your own hair.
  7. Apply hairspray to the final look blending the Hidden Crown hair with your natural
