MANE UNIVERSITY: DEAN’S LIST

Our latest series is all about celebrating our Mane University students and showing off their stellar work! Chrissy Rasmussen, a stylist and salon owner from Arizona, has been to every single one of our Mane University events and counting. Initially setting up shop in her mom’s attic with a couple of folding chairs, Chrissy has since built her business from the ground up by continuing to prioritize her growth as a stylist, and by creating effortlessly beautiful manes!

How has attending Mane University affected your business?

I strongly believe that education is the key to growing.  I have been to all of the Mane University classes and I can honestly say that I have learned so many different techniques from each class that I was able to bring back to my clients.

How has Mane University helped you become a more successful stylist?

Aside from all I have learned in the classes, I definitely feel that traveling in order to further my education only reinforces to my clients (and future clients!) that I am pushing myself to grow as a stylist.

What was your favorite technique you learned from the classes you’ve attended?

I loved Adir Abergel’s beachy wave technique.  The look is amazing and it was so fun to bring the technique back to my chair, so my clients can enjoy this fabulous look!

What do you love about Mane University?!

I feel empowered knowing that there are other stylists, like me, that want to learn and continue to perfect their craft instead of doing the same ol’ thing day after day…client after client. Going to Mane University classes gets you excited, motivated and inspired to do great hair…which is the goal because if you do great hair clients will always find you.
