I don’t care how old you are, when you see or receive something with your name on it you are guaranteed to get a little giddy. I mean, we all like things personalized, right? Enter: Function of Beauty, a small but fast growing hair brand that’s taking customization to a whole new level–shampoo and conditioner bottles with your name on them!
Okay, let me back up here. Function of Beauty is not just about slapping your name on a bottle and calling it “custom.” First, you take a quick but comprehension quiz about your hair type and hair goals (like oil control and curl definition,) then you make a few choices like: a. Do you want your shampoo to smell like Grapefruit Hibiscus or Sandalwood Violet and b. What color do you want it the formula to be? Then, after you’ve chosen which size products you want, it ships to you (for free) in the cutest, almost-don’t-want-to open-it, Tiffany blue bow, which contains your products, pumps for your bottles, and a little notecard telling you a little about your formula. Function’s products are made completely sulfate-free, paraben-free, and don’t contain any toxins or harmful chemicals.
Aside from feeling like a celebrity, because LBH personalized products will do that to a girl, one of the most unique things about this brand is how easily you can give it as a gift. I’m always looking for last minute gifts–don’t judge, I know this applies to you too–and this one has been added to my list FOR SURE. To give the gift of Function, all you have do is choose what you want and your recipient will receive a link to personalize their own bottle. You can even choose a future date to deliver the email/product! Oh, and did I mention these are made in the USA with recycled and recyclable packaging? Can’t argue with that.
Have you tried Function? What color and scent did you choose? Let us know below!
