Rihanna has had quite the week between debuting her new collection for Fenty Puma, launching her Fenty Beauty collection and ending it with her star studded 3rd annual Diamond Ball in New York City on Thursday night. The ball, which is a yearly fundraiser for Rihanna’s Clara Lionel foundation, attracted the likes of Jay Z and Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar and so many others that came out to support Bad Girl Riri’s initiative. And while one would expect nothing less than the most glamorous fashion looks from a Rihanna event, we obviously couldn’t stop marveling over the Diamond Ball hair.
So keep reading to find out the top five best hair styles from Rihanna’s Diamond Ball.
Em Rata went from beachy summer waves to a blunt bob for fall (with a totally awesome bang moment right in between!) Her new look was styled by Mane Master Jennifer Yepez for the Diamond Ball. And of course it’s the perfect shade–one of fall’s biggest hair colors, mocha.
2. Cardi B
Although she may not have danced at the ball, she definitely made money moves with her new look that was very ethereal compared to the blunt bob she sported during fashion week. Cardi’s look was created with a sharp center part, leaving two opaque pieces of hair framing the face and tying the hair back in a piecey loose bun at the nape of the neck.
Obviously, the queen of the night had to make our list. Rihanna rocked a center part and long, luscious waves done by none other than Mane Master Yusef – a much different look than the bun featuring neon colored cords that he styled for the Fenty Puma show at NYFW earlier this week. And of course, in true Rihanna fashion, she finished off the look with a glass of champagne in hand.
Lala Anthony wore a shimmering, wet yet refined look to the Diamond Ball created by Mane Master Netty Jordan. The stylist set a straight center part then pulled Lala’s hair back horizontally into a bun at the back of the head and added extensions to give the look length and dimension.
5. Imaan Hammaam
To finish off our best of Diamond Ball hair list, the model gave us life on the Diamond Ball red carpet rocking her natural textured hair. Imaan’s Mane paired with subtle makeup and a slinky red dress was elegantly effortless.
