9 Unexpected Oils That Work on Hair and Skin

For as long as I’ve been old enough to care about moisturizing, I’ve been a major oil stan. I think it started when I heard Beyoncé coated herself in baby oil for the “Crazy in Love” video and it kind of unconsciously spiraled from there.

Basically, if something is oil-based, I’ll give it a try and slather myself in it. From being broke in college and experimenting with coconut and olive oil to small-batch schmancy oils fit for a Goop listing, the healing and moisturizing properties from oils have always been ten-fold compared to lotions. Here are some of my favorite oils that work just as beautifully on your hair as they do on your skin.
