GET THE LOOK: Alexandra Daddario’s Loose Waves by Clariss Rubenstein

If there’s one hairstyle we can’t get enough of, it’s the perfect loose waves. It’s a look that is appropriate for every occasion and never goes out of style. So you won’t be surprised to hear that we swooned over Alexandra Daddario’s shiny locks at the Coach Backstage Rodeo Drive event. Alexandra’s hairstylist Clariss Rubenstein of The Wall Group shared with us how she created this look.

“Alexandra has great natural hair and I wanted to show that off.  I decided on a look that was a bit carefree and disheveled to contradict her adorably preppy outfit!”

  1. “I began by spraying Bumble and bumble Styling Lotion from roots to ends for control and added a little extra at the roots for lift.
  2. I used a small ceramic round brush and blew her hair out from wet to dry.  Using the small brush creates a messy, wavy blow out.
  3. Next I used a 1.25 inch barrel curling iron and wrapped random pieces of her hair around it.
  4. To finish the style, I used Tricky Lite by Unite (I call it wax for girls) to give her long hair a separated, tousled look.”

And there you have it, starlet hair in no time!
