With over a dozen salons across New York city and locations in many cities all across the U.S., Drybar is one of the more accessible blowout spots on our list. Living up to the “bar”  aspect of it’s name, the popular spot has a menu of various styles all strategically named after adult beverages. The offerings include looks like the “Old Fashioned” which is old hollywood waves, “Cosmo” which is lots of loose curls and “Mai Tai” which is a beachy waves look, among others styles.

Upon walking into Dreamdry you can’t help but to be enthralled by the salon’s chic interiors – but it’s no wonder considering the always-stylish ultimate #girlboss Rachel Zoe is one of the co-founders of the salon. As chic as Dreamdry may be, the one thing that upstages the salon’s aesthetic are the high-quality blowouts. Whether you stop into a New York, Chicago or Atlanta location you are guaranteed a top-notch blowout as all Dreamdry stylists are required to attend a training program to make sure all clients receive the same amazing results.

To add to the luxe experience, products like Oribe and Kerastese are used by stylists on clients to enhance the styling session and make for a long-lasting  style and clients are able to swipe across iPads to select their preferred style where offerings include a variety of polished, voluminous or lived-in blowouts.

Blackstones, @blackstonesnyc

Blackstones New York has an East Village location and salon located in The Roxy Hotel in Tribeca.  The Salon’s owner, Joey Silvestera, believes in a personalized salon experience through creative storytelling for each client, which is very apparent through the salon’s cozy decor as well and their exclusive Style Tutor Service. Blackstones’ Style Tutor Service is a one-on-one styling session with Silvestera where the client brings their own products and tools to learn how to properly use them to recreate their desired looks at home. Clients have the option to choose from four classic blowout styles: smooth, beachy waves, polished waves or natural. But of course, if school was never really your thing, Silvestera’s salons also offers blowout appointments in the traditional sense.


Goldplaited, @goldplaited_

Chicago’s one-stop shop for getting glammed for a big event or night out. Goldplaited’s team of stylists offer a variety of blowouts, styles and makeup looks  – all of which can be done in-salon or as on-the-go services.

A full-service hair salon that has a knack for long-lasting, modern blowouts, Blowtique offers a luxurious experience at affordable prices making it a Chi-town favorite.


Andy LeCompte Salon, @andylecomptesalon

Cost: starting at $85

If you decide to stop in to Andy LeCompte’s West Hollywood, you are likely to find yourself in a shampoo bowl next to an A-List celeb or at least get your tresses grazed by a stylist whose client roster includes the likes of Madonna, Lily Collins and Jlo. LeCompte’s salon employs mane masters like our very own Jen Atkin, Scotty Cunha and Liz Devin so there’s not much more explanation needed for why this has become a go-to salon in Los Angeles.

Danny Jelaca Salon, @dannyjelacahair

Miami based celebrity hair stylist Danny Jelaca opened his namesake luxury salon in 2012 at the Shops at Portofino Tower. The super luxe salon promises only the best, most elegant style and experience as Jelaca uses the full Balmain Hair couture collection as well as Leanor Greyl products in a salon where the interiors are filled with white marble floors, white tufted walls and crystal chandeliers.

db blow + dry bar, @giancarlo_deberardinis

Cost: $40 for all blowouts

db’s founder and hairstylist Giancarlo De Berardinis created a full-service salon that specializes in express blowouts. The salon offers four different signature blowouts inspired by Downtown Miami, the Design District, South Beach and Miami Vic. db promises to have clients in and out in 40 minutes and at only $40 – a much more attainable blowout compared to neighboring salons.


Blo, @bloheartsyou

Blo’s Dupont Circle location in the nation’s capital is a blowout-only salon that will travel to you, host your bachelorette party or simply do your hair for whatever event you desire. For the serious mane addicts, Blo offers a ‘mane squeeze’ blowout membership where members can pay $70 a month for two blowouts, pay $35 for any blowout thereafter as well as receive special offers and promotions.
