I am truly in my self-care era and fully invested in every aspect of taking care of myself from the inside out. I am always looking for products that will help with my dry hair. This is why I was so excited to try the Kérastase 8H Magic Night Serum. I’ve finally found my holy grail of skincare products and have a solid routine so it only makes sense to have an equally as bomb routine for my hair as well.
About the Kérastase 8H Magic Night Serum
The Kérastase 8H Magic Night Serum is an overnight treatment meant to nourish dry strands. The stars of this serum are iris root and the five-vitamin blend. Iris root replenishes and prolongs nutrition while the blend of vitamins penetrates the hair shaft and seals your cuticles. This serum boasts that it will hydrate your strands and leave your hair softer than it was before application.
Kérastase 8H Magic Night Serum Review
To try this product I did my usual wash routine. The box instructs you to apply the serum to damp or dry hair and focus on the ends of your strands. My first impressions of this product did not disappoint. The sealed box elevated the heightened anticipation I had of this product. The serum is held in a glass bottle, which I loved, as I am always striving to avoid and eliminate my plastic consumption when I can.
On my freshly-conditioned hair, I applied the serum to the tips of my hair as instructed. I was very thrilled to try this product because the tips of my hair are the last remnants of a bad dye job I did at the very beginning of the pandemic (don’t ask). Because some of the tips of my hair are still bleached they tend to feel really dry and brittle.
After applying the serum I went to sleep and let the serum work its supposed “magic.” The product delivered on its promise of softer hair. My ends were softer by the touch and felt nourished. After using the serum for a week it has become a part of my evolving nighttime routine. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that wants to show their hair some extra love and combat dry strands.
