Rainy day hair hack to stay frizz-free:

Fighting frizz becomes a nightmare when the weather changes. When it rains and air temperature changes, hair can become frizzy, unruly and frustrating. So a key tip for me has to be the brand new Tangle Teezer Blow-Styling Round Tool which is used when your hair is wet straight after the shower or tub. Instead of rough drying your hair, you can go straight in with the brush. The teeth creates tension so there’s less work for you 🙂

The best setting hairsprays to use before stepping out on a rainy day:
Redken Forceful 23 Super Strength Hairspray
L’Oreal Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hairspray

Products you should use in the shower to prevent frizzy hair:

I’m always a massive fan of Kerastase Nutri-Thermique Conditioner (not too heavy, creates a silky smooth finish, and perfectly nourishing not only on the outside of the cuticle but penetrates within.

The best product for touching up a hairstyle that’s gone frizzy from rain/wind:

Dont fight the frizz, go with it. Use EVO Salty Dog Cocktail Beach Spray or Ouai Wave Spray.

Products you should not use on a rainy day:
Don’t wash your hair on a rainy day. Hair can be fluffy and won’t look great if there’s humidity, especially after an amazing blow out!
Cute hairstyles that are best to wear on a rainy day:
Top knot (high bun). Accessorize it and make it playful! Quick, simple, and an extremely powerful hair ‘do!

Rainy day hair hack to stay frizz-free:
One of my favorite hair hacks for a rainy day is to play with the style. I always love a sleek ponytail or even something braided, especially if you have curly frizzy hair.

The best setting hairspray to use before stepping out on a rainy day:
Shu Uemera makes an amazing hairspray, Sheer Lacquer. It holds but is also moldable and flexible. L’Oreal Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hairspray is my favorite if I want that super strong hold.
Products you should use in the shower to prevent frizzy hair:
In the shower, I would definitely try not to use shampoo too often. I love using cleansing conditioner. My favorite is Unwash Bio-Cleansing Conditioner. In the rainy cold months, hair tends to be extra dry which creates frizz so I recommend using as many moisturizing products as possible.
The best product for touching up a hairstyle that’s gone frizzy from rain/wind:
My new fav product for when hair gets frizzy is Virtue Polish Unfrizz Cream. It is the best!!!! My new obsession!!
Products you should not use on a rainy day:
When you don’t use product, hair can tend to have static and get frizzy. So during these rainy winter months, I definitely recommend the use of product. People should become more familiar with diffusers, something that I think is so underused. I know when it’s cold and rainy out, the last thing you want to do is walk out with wet hair and let it air dry, or blow it out when you know it will be ruined. Becoming familiar with a diffuser will definitely help during rainy cold days.
Cute hairstyles that are best to wear on a rainy day:
I’m all for a chic, tight ponytail or top knot. I also love seeing different braid styles.

Rainy day hair hack to stay frizz-free:
If I know 100% it’s going to be a rainy day or super windy, I always suggest an up style or something more sleek. No one wants droopy wet hair. NOT CUTE.
The best setting hairsprays to use before stepping out on a rainy day:
My must-have in my kit is Control Force Hair Spray by Aveda. The best drug store buy for anti-humidity spray is L’Oreal Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hairspray, and if you have an extra penny to spend, Oribe Impermeable Anti-Humidity Spray. I prefer the scent of the Oribe one over the Loreal, and the Aveda but all three perform well.
Products you should use in the shower to prevent frizzy hair:
So if I’m doing a sleek look that can stand a little product I LOVEEEE Aveda’s Brilliant Humectant Pomade. It’s seriously the best for anyone who has textured hair, or hair prone to curling up. It’s very high shine, and gives you a glossy finish, while protecting it from moisture. THE BEST.
The best product for touching up a hairstyle that’s gone frizzy from rain/wind:
You can’t go wrong keeping a little brush in your bag and touching up with a tiny bit of oil. My oil go-to is Aveda’s Dry Remedy Moisturizing Oil, or if you’re into a more floral scent, Ouai’s Hair Oil.
Products you should not use on a rainy day:
There are a lot of products that break down in the rain, but one thing I don’t recommend is using any sort of color sprays or root touch-up sprays on a rainy day. That can end up being a colorful mess all over your face. Not pretty.
Cute hairstyles that are best to wear on a rainy day:
My go to would be a sleek bun. Center part or side part. Low. Glossy. Or a cool braided style. Not a texture braid, but a tighter, smoother braid turned into an up style. Or, of course, a wet look. Make sure it’s set with more of a gel and anti-humidity hair spray as opposed to oils so it will look fierce and wet–not droopy and wet.
