A Guide to All Gigi Hadid’s Beauty Looks at the Much Music Video Awards

Leave it to supermodel Gigi Hadid to slay her hosting gig at Toronto’s iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards just last Sunday. With six looks total throughout the night, her glam quad (Jennifer Yepez, Patrick Ta, and Monica Rose) brought it! With only 10-15 minutes to change from head to toe between looks, it’s the hustle of the team that made sure Gigi can step onto the stage looking flawless AF. Keep reading to see all six of Gigi’s looks with commentary from her hair guru Jennifer Yepez.

1. ULTRA LONG RED CARPET BRAID

“Basically we did a little bit of glam for rehearsals. We were originally going to do a bun for this look, but we ended up loving the braid during rehearsal, so we just amped it up for red carpet. I bought a super long ponytail extension months ago for the show, but Gigi wasn’t sure if she wanted to use it, but we ended up using it all night and it looked amazing.”

2. ULTRA LONG SIDE BRAID

“With the outfit, she looked like a Barbie doll, so it was perfect.”

3. SUPER HIGH LONG BRAID

“The White outfit was so royal, but also a little Mariachi, so I was definitely getting Selena vibes. We wanted a look that was regal, so we ended up with a textured ponytail and woven braid.”

4. WOVEN TOPKNOT

“The mint green outfit looked amazing with bun, so I just wrapped the ponytail around into a high bun and pinned it.”

5. SNATCHED FISHTAIL

“This was with the bodysuit and high boots. I took everything down, then got her hair super snatched with hairspray in a high pony with a fishtail braid. We wanted something cooler for the last look of the show that went with the netting and stitching of the bodysuit.”

6. SLEEK LOW PONYTAIL

“When she had the dress on, we just kept thinking liquid. So with with liquid, shiny, sequin inspiration, we wanted something super sleek. SO we just slicked it down with hairspray and I just added shine on the ends. I already loved the texture her hair had when we took it down so it was perfect.”
