From his incredible nuanced haircuts for Alexander Wang, to the “morning after” mane he created for Marc Jacobs at New York Fashion Week, Mane Master Guido Palau has done it again! The hair legend and creative director for Redken created an effortless look that embraced the girls’ natural texture and enhanced each model’s individuality. The art of his barely-there hairstyle perfectly accented Loewe’s bold, disco-ball inspired designs. We can’t WAIT to get our hands on those amazing transparent plastic trousers! On how he created the look, Guido says, “The hair at Loewe is very individual – it’s all about the girls’ personalities. Some have their hair back, some have it down and natural. I prepped the hair with Redken’s satinwear 02 and water and then rough blow dried the hair to keep the natural texture, which gives that luxurious, rich finish.” GET THE LOOK:
- Work a nickel-size amount of Redken satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion into damp hair from roots to ends.
- Rough blow dry hair using fingers.
- Gather hair back into a low ponytail, securing at the base of the head with an elastic.
- If desired, finish with a light mist of Diamond Oil High Shine Airy Mist for extra shine.
