MANESPIRATION: Kim Kardashian’s Fresh Haircut by Gregory Russell

HOLD UP. Kim Kardashian ditched her signature long locks for a fresh and modern mid length cut courtesy of Gregory Russell of Andy Lecompte Salon.

While Kim had short blonde hair only months ago, it’s no secret that the long strands were only extensions anyways. We love the versatility that extensions give girls who are growing out their hair as you can easily try out new haircuts and styles on the reg without any permanent commitment (something the Kardashian/Jenner klan are stranger to).

Kim debuted her new cut on her Instagram only days ago, posting both a picture of before and after. “We wanted to take the length shorter for a fresh look. I added more layers and textured the ends for an effortless vibe,” says Gregory of Kim’s new cut. If you’re inching towards a  shorter fresh length, “I recommend face framing layers and lots of texture to the cut to make it look fresh and modern.”

Kim’s look is not so different from the cut Priscilla Valles gave Kim’s youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, just earlier this year with lots of movement and texture.
