Mane Master, Luigi Murenu

If there’s one thing we’ve covered on Mane Addicts, it’s just how cool Kate Moss’s hair is.  But have we talked about her famed hairstylist?  Well, that’s what we’re all about today.  Mane Master, Luigi Murenu not only styles the coveted locks of Kate Moss, but also blonde bombshells Madonna, Scarlett Johansson, and Gwyneth Paltrow.  Gaining success as an editorial stylist, and perfecting the art of creating everything from elegantly beautiful hair to architectural masterpieces, Murenu is now the Artistic Director of Couture Styling for Kerastase.  The Sardinian born stylist began his career at age 17 in Paris, then moved to New York where his big break was with Madonna.  Since then he has worked with every major photographer, and for every major ad campaign and runway.  Working closely with film director Tim Burton, Mureno has somehow managed to make sure nearly every photo of himself and his work turn up in black and white.  If that isn’t the curated work of an artist, we don’t know what is.
