Tucked away on a quiet street in Noho you’ll find Arté Salon, a bright, white, modern space built to make clients look and feel good from the moment they walk through the door.
Warm and friendly, the space is a mecca of relaxation juxtaposing the busy streets of the concrete jungle. A charming grey door welcomes customers into a lobby that more closely resembles your best friend’s living room than the sterile waiting rooms found in most salons. With a white brick fireplace and bucket chairs, clients can escape with a cappuccino or wine in hand.
The philosophy here is simple—a fabulous haircut requires attention to detail. Emphasizing a harmonious color and cut to highlight healthy hair, the Arté Salon team offers nothing less than nirvana to their clients.
Salon owner Joseph Artale must be doing something right. Most of his clients, who have been with him more than a decade, moved with him when he shifted spaces from an urban street to the quiet escape of Elizabeth Street back in 2004.
And it’s not just Artale who’s accumulated a long list of faithful devotees. Having resided at Arté Salon for nine years, stylist Jemma Muradian is the woman behind the manes of mega-babes Taylor Swift, Lily Aldridge and Karlie Kloss.
The signature style here is minimal, blink-and-you’ll-miss-them highlights, artfully sprinkled throughout any mane that sits before the Arte team. Rounding out the experience is a Japanese scalp and neck massage every bit as indulgent as it sounds.
But the in-house experience is only half the appeal. The stylists here help their clients achieve healthy hair well beyond time spent in the chair. Armed with tailored Kerastase conditioning treatments and years of knowledge on how to care for your unique hair, the team gives any girl the secret to a great hair day built to go the distance.
