With a brand that’s named after Good Hair Days, it’s no surprise ghd chose Olivia Culpo as their first celebrity brand ambassador.
The former Miss Universe known for her savvy fashion and gorgeous beauty looks, has a large following who looks to her for trends and inspiration.

“[My looks are] truly a collaboration,” she tells us. “I’ll think of things beforehand and am constantly inspired, but I always ask for my hair stylist’s opinion and we work together.” Culpo and her hair stylist, Justine Marjan – the mane master behind the locks of Kim and Khloe K, Lily Aldridge, and Giuliana Rancic – are always collaborating on different looks and together they’ve created some of the most coveted tousled waves, high ponytails, braids, and sleek straight styles.

Marjan was the one to introduce her to ghd. “It was a revelation. The fact that I could easily create any style I wanted while at the same time preserving the health of my hair was game changing. I have been hooked ever since,” admits Culpo.

Together with Culpo, ghd has set out to debunk hair styling myths and prove you don’t need to have an extremely damaging, high heat temperature on your hair to get the results you want. Their breakthrough technology delivers healthier, stronger hair without sacrificing any long-lasting look you’re trying to achieve. I asked Culpo which she preferred – long or short hair? straight or wavy? “Straight? No, wavy… and short… no, no, long!” she laughs. It’s no wonder this hair chameleon has paired up with the brand!
The GHD flight — More volume. Less weight. Enough said.

As a professional stylist myself, I have to admit that ghd tools have become an easy favorite and must-have in my kit. Here are a couple of my personal favorites from the brand that I highly recommend to all of my fellow mane addicts for maximized impact and minimized damage…
What I love most about this flat iron is the rounded edges of it’s plates. I can create so many different types of looks with this iron and when I decide to use it to create waves, it doesn’t leave a dent or mark with it’s plates. Also, it comes with a glove for heat protection which is super helpful for stylists or people on the go – you’re able to pack it up right after use without waiting for it to cool down.
I can create most styles using a 1” and 1 1/4” iron. If your hair has a hard time holding a curl, I recommend using a smaller iron because it will give you a tighter curl, which will then loosen up and fall out to create that desired loose wave look.
