HOW-TO: Olivia Palermo’s Bold Braid by Lacy Redway

Every girl’s number 1 hair crush, Olivia Palermo, recently stepped out in New York City with a bold hair change! A chunky braid paired with wispy volume in the front. Styled by none other than Mane Master Lacy Redway, we were able to snag the deets on how she created her style.olivia palermo braid

TO STYLE:

1. I prepped Olivia’s hair with Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Gel all over the head to add volume and texture. I rough dried with my Amika Blow Dryer to make the hair a little easier to grip as I braid.

2. I then started off with a French braid (three strand) and once I got to the middle of the braid, I finished off with a four strand braid to add a little more pizzazz.

3. I tied off the end with an elastic and finished with Serge Normant Meta Lux Hairspray to lock fly aways in place.”
