Paper Towel Beach Waves Is the Secret to Sienna Miller’s Effortless Look

There’s nothing we love more than a good hair hack, especially when it changes the game completely and only requires we go as far as our kitchen.

You heard that, your kitchen. So, when we found out about celeb stylist Adir Abergel’s “paper towel” hack for beach waves, we were intrigued, to say the least. We connected with Adir and (thankfully) he spilled the full tea on how to get the look.

Works Best on Wavy Texture

“I’ve been doing this technique on Sienna Miller for a very long time,” Adir explains, who reminds us that Sienna Miller actually has naturally wavy hair.

“This is really a trick if you already have waves in your hair but you don’t want them to look frizzy,” he says, noting that this hack will make your waves “look gorgeous.”

Remove Moisture, But Don’t Touch Your Regular Towl

The first step of the look is to forego your towel, seriously do not let it touch your hair. “When you get out of the shower, the first thing you’re going to do is to apply Virtue Un-Frizz Cream: $20 all over your hair. Then, you’re going to take Bounty Paper Towels and scrunch the hair from the bottom-up until you remove most of the moisture,” explains Adir.

Following this, Adir takes a long piece of paper towel and rolls it, braiding the hair into the paper towel.

Adir demonstrates the paper towel rolling technique for beach waves.

“Once you’re hair is air-dried (or you can use a diffuser), you’re going to get the most beautiful waves you’ve ever gotten, your hair is going to dry a lot quicker, and it’s going to be absolutely beautiful!”

“Please try it and let me know if you love it,” he adds.
